summer project stories: France

The above quote epitomizes the atheistic slumber that hangs over France. Though French students tend to be open to talking about spiritual things, there are few people there who can wake them up. Nantes has a population of about 800,000 (comparable to Indianapolis) with only 4 Protestant churches of about 20-30 people each. When this project shared about God’s love with the French students, it was the first conversation many of them had ever had about spiritual things.

summer project stories: New Zealand

wellington1Adam, a Chinese student studying in Wellington grew up atheist and had never heard of Jesus before Josh met him on campus. “I’m an atheist..that’s hard to change,” he told Josh. Josh and a project student shared about Jesus with Adam throughout the summer and he came to the project’s weekly meetings. Now Adam is meeting with staff member in Wellington. He is reading his Bible and asking great questions!

During the project, 150 people from 29 nations heard the gospel.
